Concept Search - Converting heat into motion

Concept search, and converting heat into linear motion

Scroll down for why physics trilogy exists, "Problem and Repair of Relativity"

Have you ever wondered why the search for science concepts is so long in coming? I would like to give an example of why so much time is involved in the search for basic concepts.

We live in a world that has been created in such manner that all manner of physical principles work together. This has been accomplished through the Agency of Wisdom and Understanding. Obviously, a Creator. It is because of what we observe in this world that we know to examine what is about us for underlying reason for the existence of individual principles.

Our search is like a person, having heard that the entire alphabet is able to be found in individual grains of sand, goes in search for them. Each letter has to be of a particular height, width, depth, and be of the same color. After spending an entire lifetime searching for such grains of sand, he discovers two. When that person dies another begins looking, and during their lifetime they find three more. Then the searching becomes more difficult. The beaches, deserts, and different continents must all be searched - even the South Pole region.

The further one moves from the obvious, the more difficult becomes the search for the systems end. Having said this, let me present a few concepts that should help a person who wishes to convert heat energy directly into linear motion. The application is up to the reader.

The primary concern is frequency (heat) isolation. Heat energy, itself is linear motion in random order. What is needed is for this random motion of atoms to be lined up to there is a motion of frequency in one particular direction that exceeds that of other directions - like when a balloon is blown up and released.

In order to do this, we shall need an energy source and a "sink" for that heat energy to move toward. We begin by having a long, thick walled cylinder that is closed at both ends. The cylinder must have zero vacuum (as close as possible). Traversing the entire length of the cylinder is a single strand of material. This is to begin with. (The more strands the greater the motion, using a singe atomic number material). I would choose, to begin, an "iron whisker". The frequency begun in the strand must be kept isolated so there is no leakage laterally. (Perhaps the sides of the iron strand would have to be finished like that of a mirror).

On the heat end, the strand would be the sole recipient of the heat energy; much as possible (the area about the strand could be silvered to reduce heat transfer). The sink on the opposite end would be a gradual expansion of the filament (funnel shape) to allow for the frequency to expand, thus forming a "partial frequency vacuum".

Of course, some things are easier said than done, and I would expect this to be one of those things. It would also be possible (though much more complex) to have a single strand of material wound in circular fashion, but that no part touched another. This would increase the distance given for a single frequency to form.

Motion is frequency, that is what the quest is. To find a single frequency maintained in a single material in one direction. Find that and you shall have converted heat energy directly into linear motion, and you shall put the gas companies out of business. (Barrel of "crude" for a dollar).

The opposite of this concept is that of the breaking system in your automobile. Here the motion of a single frequency within your moving automobile is converted into many frequencies. It can be worked out - go for it.

Parameters: the following are the construction and testing concepts I had thought of using at one time. It seemed there were four substances that were most likely to be successful in converting heat frequencies into a single one of motion. The “iron whisker” had unusual tensile properties. Quartz because of piezoelectric property. Silicone because the atomic lattice was the same as diamond. And diamond because, due to its hardness and brittle nature, should be able to tune a frequency to a greater degree of accuracy than any other substance.

If the filament is very fine, it appeared as though, were to be solid all the way through it would work. Should a filament be of a wide construction, it seemed as though it ought to be hollow. A filament needs to be experimented with in such manner that there are slight atomic variations within it at different temperatures. It seemed that by using the tension, torsion and compression values this could be done. Applying tension to an “iron whisker” for instance, will cause the rapidity of heat transfer to change. This is true also of compression. Then by means of torsion this value is able to be refined. Designing a filament with different mass values at different locations along a filament would also change the manner in which a monofrequency is formed.

By observation, when the experiment is being performed, what I would look for by means of a very sensitive infrared sensor, detecting a very small area, is a location that becomes cooler than the rest of the surrounding filament. Then, I would seek to expand the values that made that particular location cooler, much as possible. Final testing of the concept might be done on a pool of mercury, where a self-contained unit could be observed in free motion.

The disc stage. Once the frequency has been learned for a particular material, to convert random heat motion into linear motion, next use that value and transfer it disc to disc, having large surface areas (discs in direct contact with each other would negate the necessity of a large vacuum, but it would still be necessary laterally). It is when this is done that “antigravity” values will able to be realized. Of course, it would not be anti-gravitational in the real sense, any more than a hydrogen filled balloon or aircraft are anti-gravitational. It would still require the expenditure of energy in order for it to operate, though, hopefully, very small.

Then, we are back to the beginning of this writing. Having been told that there is a complete alphabet within the grains of sand upon our planet, some will seek it (though there really isn’t, it’s just part of the illustration). Likewise, we know there is the ability of mass converting heat into linear motion, for we see the reverse operation in the breaking system of our automobile. Some will seek it. The closer a person comes to needing the final grain of the alphabet, the more difficult the quest becomes.
